On July 24th, the Bank of Canada lowered their overnight rate by 0.25% for the second time this year. Our last video, " Bank of Canada Overnight Rate Drop " (#91) asked the question "Did Mortgages Go Down?" In that video I explained what actually happened to the Canadian borrowing mortgage rates when the BOC overnight rates dropped. Our next Bank of Canada announcement will be in September.
